What benefits our customer get from this project?
Through precise engineering and discreet integration, the Wadi Al Amardi Palace becomes a living environment that responds effortlessly to purpose and presence. Lighting, climate and AV shift seamlessly between formal gatherings, private family use and quiet evenings.
Our focus on redundancy, reliability and refined control ensures a residence that feels calm, intuitive and entirely in harmony with its occupants.
01. What defines the Wadi Al Amardi Palace project?
The Wadi Al Amardi Palace is a grand residence designed for both formal royal protocol and private family life. Its scale and layout demanded an automation ecosystem that works silently, seamlessly, and intelligently across halls, private wings, and expansive gardens — without ever revealing the complexity behind it.
02. What challenges did this palace present?
The sheer size of the residence required absolute reliability and discreet operation. With hundreds of lighting zones, HVAC clusters, shading groups, AV touchpoints, and security layers, every system had to respond instantly and quietly, ensuring smooth transitions for events, gatherings, and daily routines.
03. How did Ultitrend engineer the solution?
We deployed a redundant KNX–DALI backbone across the full estate, ensuring uninterrupted performance even in the event of system load or failure. All systems, lighting, climate, shading, AV, and multi-layer security, were unified into a single intelligent platform, programmed for effortless scene changes and adaptive comfort throughout every wing of the palace.
04. What was the final outcome?
The palace now operates with silent precision. Lighting adjusts instantly, climate adapts intelligently, and shading moves quietly in sync with natural light. From private areas to formal halls, every detail functions flawlessly, delivering a level of refinement and reliability befitting a royal residence.

CONCULSION
Clear principle: ultimate discretion, absolute reliability, zero visual noise.
Our Approach
Designing automation for a residence of this scale required engineering that could operate seamlessly across formal halls, private suites, service areas, and extensive outdoor grounds — all without interrupting the palace’s architectural purity.
To achieve this, we deployed a dual-redundant KNX backbone to guarantee uninterrupted functionality, even in the rare case of system failure. This formed the foundation for fully synchronised control of:
DALI lighting, tuned for royal events, family gatherings, and everyday living
Zoned HVAC, balanced across vast interior spaces
Automated shading, responding intelligently to sunlight and privacy needs
Integrated AV, quietly distributed throughout formal and informal wings
Multi-layer security, unified into a single silent, responsive system
Every scene, transition, and control point was crafted to feel instant, effortless, and invisible — ensuring the palace moves gracefully from ceremony to calm retreat at a moment’s notice.
“Every detail was handled with perfection. The transitions, the comfort, and the precision across the entire palace exceeded every expectation.”
